## Questions people ask

### Can I convert Publisher files to PDF without Publisher?

Yes. Conversion happens on our servers, so all you need is a web browser. Publisher can be long gone from your computer.

### Is it free?

### Will the PDF look exactly like my original?

Often close, but not identical: we don't use Microsoft Publisher. WordArt, rare fonts and stories continued on another page can differ, which is why you see every page before paying.

### Can I edit my files after converting?

Yes. Open the ODG in LibreOffice Draw, which is free. The DOCX has the text only, without the layout.

### Can I convert a whole folder at once?

Yes. Choose a folder, drag it in or upload a ZIP: up to 2,000 Publisher files, 25 MB each. Your folders come back the same.

### Which Publisher versions work?

Files from Publisher 2002 to 2021 and Microsoft 365 work best. Publisher 98 and 2000 files usually open but can lose tables, and some Publisher 97 and 98 files can't be read. The preview shows you before you pay.

### Is it safe to upload my files?

They travel encrypted (HTTPS), are converted in a locked-down sandbox and are deleted 24 hours after upload, unless you report a problem and ask us to keep a file. No account, and your files are never sold.
