# One-time pricing, no subscription

Our Publisher file conversion service is priced per batch. Preview first, free. When you're happy, make one payment for the files that converted. No subscription, no account, and nothing to install.

| Plan | Price (one time) | Converted files |
|---|---|---|
| Starter | $5 | up to 10 |
| Small | $15 | up to 60 |
| Archive | $29 | up to 300 |
| Organization | $59 | up to 2,000 |

**Free, before you pay anything:** A watermarked preview of every page of the first 10 files in each batch, plus 1 clean single-file download per email address. No account, no card.

## How your price is worked out

We count the files that converted and pick the smallest plan that covers them. Files that fail don't count, so the price can only go down from the estimate you see before uploading.

| You upload | Converted | You pay |
|---|---|---|
| 6 files | 6 | $5 (Starter) |
| 40 files | 37 | $15 (Small) |
| 270 files | 262 | $29 (Archive) |
| 600 files | 588 | $59 (Organization) |

## Every paid batch includes

- A print-ready PDF of every converted file
- Every page as a 150 dpi PNG and JPG image
- An ODG file you can edit in free LibreOffice Draw
- A DOCX file with the text (text only, no layout)
- Your original folder structure, plus a report (CSV)
- Download links until your files are deleted, 24 hours after upload

## What we don't offer

- An editable Publisher (.pub) file: we convert out of the format, not back into it
- A Word file that keeps your layout: the DOCX holds the text only
- Human review of each file

## Pricing questions

### Is this a subscription?

No. It's a one-time payment for a batch of files, and that's it. Nothing renews, and there's no account to cancel.

### What does each plan cost?

$5 for up to 10 files, $15 for up to 60, $29 for up to 300, or $59 for up to 2,000. Each is a one-time payment for one batch, and the plan is the smallest one that covers the files that converted.

### How is my plan chosen?

Automatically, from the number of files that converted. For example, if you upload 40 files and 37 convert, that's the Small plan at $15. You see the price, and the reason for it, before you pay.

### Do I pay for files that don't convert?

No. Files that fail are listed with the reason and never counted. If none of your files convert, there's nothing to pay.

### What's included in the free preview?

A watermarked, low-resolution view of every page of the first 10 files in each batch, plus the status of every file. On top of that, each email address can download 1 converted file free, without the watermark.

### Do I need an account?

No. Each batch has its own private link. The checkout asks for an email address so it can send your receipt.

### Will tax be added at checkout?

Prices are in US dollars. Our payment provider handles the sale and may add sales tax or VAT where the law requires it. You see the full total before you pay.

### Can I get a receipt for my church, school or office?

Yes. The payment provider emails you a receipt as soon as you pay, which you can pass to your treasurer or bookkeeper.

### I have more than 2,000 files. What should I do?

Split them into batches of up to 2,000 files, for example one folder at a time. Each batch is priced on its own. If your archive is much bigger, email us first.

### What if a file I paid for is unusable?

Email us within 7 days and we'll refund you. Tell us which file and what's wrong; there's no need to argue your case.

### Why do some other services cost more?

Some say they run real copies of Microsoft Publisher, which can be more faithful and usually costs more. We use LibreOffice's open-source Publisher importer, so we can charge less, and you see every page before paying.
